We come from an industry where you sign your name to your numbers.

Refineries and petrochemical plants run on a discipline most software never meets: every reading logged, every change reviewed, every decision owned by a person whose name is on it. We are practicing engineers from that world, based in Lake Charles, and we brought the discipline with us. Powered Metrics builds AI that works the way a good control room does: it moves fast, but nothing happens without a signature, and everything that happens is on the record.

Jacob Vincent

Founder and CEO

Jacob is a chemical engineer who has spent his career where the work actually happens: refineries and petrochemical plants. He has worked on process operations, safety systems, process control, instrumentation, and reliability, so he understands both the plant floor and the bigger business decisions above it. At Powered Metrics, he turns messy operating data into clear answers using tools like Power BI, Python, process models, and AI, with one aim: safer, more reliable, more profitable operations.

Emily Vincent

Founder, COO, and CFO

Emily is a mechanical engineer with an MBA in Financial Analytics and a background in maintenance, reliability, and process improvement across petrochemical manufacturing. She has served on business process efficiency teams, working hand in hand with operations, maintenance, and site leadership to make equipment more reliable and daily work less manual. She is a technical authority in Power BI and digital automation, and pairs that with the financial fluency to tie operational change to the numbers that matter. At Powered Metrics, she turns scattered operational information into organized, useful insight, and is especially good at translating a complex technical problem into a clear plan a team can act on.

Where we come from

This is one of the most industrially dense regions in the country. Refining, petrochemicals, LNG, and the whole economy of businesses that keeps them running: contractors and fabricators, and also the hotels, restaurants, and clinics that keep the people running.

We started Powered Metrics on a conviction that came straight from that work: the rigor the biggest operations pay millions for is now, with AI applied carefully, within reach of a business of almost any size.

Carefully is the load-bearing word. We did not build AI that replaces your judgment. We built AI that reports to it, and keeps the receipts.
